Bengaluru-based speciality chemical manufacturing startup Scimplify has raised $25 million (around ₹238 crore) in a fresh funding round led by Hitachi Ventures. The round saw participation from existing investors Accel, Bertelsmann India Investments, 3one4 Capital, and Omnivore, along with new backers including Teknor Apex and Henkel. Founded in 2023 by Sachin Santhosh, Salil Srivastava, Dheeraj Dhingra, and Hersh Manek, Scimplify plans to use the capital to scale its semiconductor and battery chemicals businesses. It will also advance rare earth metals purification and expand SciNode, its proprietary agentic AI manufacturing platform.
