Bengaluru-based wealthtech platform Scripbox has passed a board resolution to convert into a public limited company, renaming itself Scripbox Wealth Managers Limited in preparation for an upcoming initial public offering (IPO). The planned listing will feature a fresh issue of equity shares alongside an offer for sale (OFS) from existing shareholders. Founded in 2012 by Atul Shinghal and Sanjiv Singhal, Scripbox distributes mutual funds, fixed deposits, US stocks, and NPS products. The move follows recent approvals to raise up to ₹170 crore in debt and equity and its acquisition of Bluechip Capital's mutual fund business.
