Non-banking financial company Seeds Fincap has secured over ₹100 crore in its Series B funding round, led by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. The company plans to deploy the fresh capital to expand its geographical branch network, recruit on-ground field personnel, and upgrade its risk-tracking systems. Seeds Fincap aims to scale its assets under management to ₹1,000 crore by March 2027. Concurrently, enterprise tech giant IBM announced expanded academic AI collaborations with IIT Bombay and IISc, focusing on sovereign AI, agentic workflows, Indic languages, multimodal systems, and core infrastructure to accelerate India's domestic deep-tech research capabilities.
