Bhubaneswar-based deeptech startup Serendipity Space, founded in 2024 by Antariksh Parichha, Jivitesh Debata, and Dr. Monica Ekal, has raised approximately $591,000 across two funding rounds backed by Campus Fund. The company is developing Alchemy, an autonomous in-space manufacturing module designed to produce pharmaceuticals in microgravity and return them safely to Earth. Microgravity offers unique conditions for protein crystallization and formulation development. Serendipity Space is preparing for a near-space scientific balloon mission in partnership with the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), scheduled for launch in March 2026.
