Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Simple Energy has raised Rs 1,750 crore in a Series C funding round. The equity round was led by the Dr. Arokiaswamy Velumani Family Office alongside co-founders Suhas Rajkumar and Ankit Gupta. Bengaluru-based HNI Amit Mishra and Haran Family Office also participated. This round brings Simple Energy’s total capital raised to over Rs 2,530 crore, ranking among the largest equity infusions in India's electric two-wheeler sector. Additionally, MSME lender Seeds Fincap secured Rs 100 crore in Series B funding led by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation to expand physical branches and tech tools.
