Simple Energy Debuts Wave Family Electric Scooter Starting At ₹1.1 Lakh

Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer Simple Energy has launched its first family electric scooter, the Simple Wave, starting at an introductory price of ₹1.10 lakh ex-showroom. The lineup features six models across three variants: Wave S, Wave, and Wave+. The top-tier Wave+ model features a 5 kWh battery pack offering an IDC-certified range of 243 km, a top speed of 90 kmph, and a 6.4 kW motor. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in late September. Founded in 2019, Simple Energy competes against Ola Electric, Ather Energy, TVS Motor, and Bajaj Auto in the Indian market.
