Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler maker Simple Energy has raised $180 million (₹1,750 crore) in a Series C funding round led by Dr. Arokiaswamy Velumani's Family Office. Haran Family Office, angel investor Amit Mishra, and co-founders Suhas Rajkumar and Ankit Gupta also participated. The all-equity fundraise comes three months after a ₹250 crore Series B round, taking the company's total equity raised to $264 million (₹2,530 crore). Simple Energy will use the capital to build a new manufacturing facility, boost production, expand distribution, and scale R&D for next-generation EV products.
