Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler startup Simple Energy has raised $182 million (Rs 1,750 crore) in a Series C funding round. The all-equity fundraise was led by Thyrocare founder Dr Arokiaswamy Velumani’s family office, alongside co-founders Suhas Rajkumar and Ankit Gupta, Amit Mishra, and Haran Family Office. Total funding now stands at $263 million. The capital will fund a new manufacturing facility, expand distribution networks, and support product research. Simple Energy currently operates over 80 outlets across 60 cities and reported FY26 operating revenue between Rs 150 crore and Rs 160 crore.
