Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer Simple Energy has secured Rs 1,750 crore in its Series C funding round. The equity round was led by Dr. Arokiaswamy Velumani Family Office alongside co-founders Suhas Rajkumar and Ankit Gupta. Bengaluru-based high-net-worth individual Amit Mishra and the Haran Family Office also participated. Founded in 2019, Simple Energy builds electric two-wheelers with in-house architecture, powertrains, battery packs, and software. The fresh capital brings the startup's total funding past Rs 2,530 crore, positioning it for aggressive nationwide scaling after overcoming initial supply chain disruptions and delivery timeline hurdles.
