Skyroot Aerospace Sees Affordable Space Travel Within Next Decade

Pawan Kumar Chandana, co-founder of Hyderabad-based spacetech startup Skyroot Aerospace, stated that space travel at the cost of an airline ticket will become a reality for Indian tourists within the next decade. Speaking at an event hosted by the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), Chandana highlighted Hyderabad's emergence as India's premier rocket city, supported by a critical local supply chain. Skyroot recently made history by launching India's first privately designed and built rocket. Chandana emphasized the significant contribution of the Telugu states to advancing India's private space technology landscape.
