Slice Appoints Samir Sawhney as Executive Director and Ramesh Kumar to Board

Digital banking platform slice has appointed former State Bank of India veteran Samir Sawhney as Executive Director and ex-ICICI Bank executive Ramesh Kumar as Independent Director. The Reserve Bank of India has approved Sawhney's appointment. Sawhney brings over 34 years of banking experience, having previously headed SBI's global markets and treasury operations. Kumar brings 30 years of technology and banking experience and previously advised slice during its merger with North East Small Finance Bank. Following the merger, slice operates as a full-stack digital bank offering UPI, savings accounts, fixed deposits, credit cards, and credit services.
