Digital banking startup Slice has raised $100 million in a fresh funding round at a valuation of approximately $450 million, led by Neo Wealth. The round included participation from Japan-based Kado Global, Moore Strategic Ventures, Blume Ventures, and Raise Financial. This capital injection represents a steep drop from its peak valuation of $1.5 billion in 2022. The deal comprises primary and secondary components, with Slice's board approving compulsory convertible debentures worth Rs 403.47 crore. The fresh funds will bolster Slice's operations as it transitions into a digital banking platform following its recent turnaround to profitability.
