D2C baby-tech startup Cradlewise has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round led by 3one4 Capital and Prudent Investment Management. The San Francisco-headquartered company plans to deploy the fresh capital to expand product R&D, broaden its distribution into offline retail channels, and enter new international markets. Founded in 2019 by Radhika Patil and Bharath Patil, Cradlewise manufactures an AI-enabled smart crib that automatically detects when a baby stirs and gently bounces to soothe them. The startup leverages over 75 million hours of connected sleep data to personalise its responses.
