Snapdeal Parent AceVector Plunges 18% on Weak Dalal Street Debut

AceVector, the parent company of ecommerce platform Snapdeal, made a disappointing stock market debut, listing at ₹28.30 on the BSE—an 11.6% discount to its issue price of ₹32 per share. The stock slumped further throughout the trading session to finish more than 18% below its offer price. Market analysts attributed the weak listing to persistent losses, negative operating cash flows, thin take-rates, and stiff competition from larger rivals like Meesho. Despite positive SaaS contributions from its subsidiary Unicommerce, investors remained cautious about Snapdeal’s long-term path to profitability in India's value-commerce space.
