SoftBank Sells 2.6% Stake In Lenskart For ₹2,888 Crore

Japanese investor SoftBank Group has sold an additional 2.58% stake in omnichannel eyewear unicorn Lenskart for Rs 2,887.87 crore via open market block deals. SoftBank offloaded 4.5 crore shares through its affiliate SVF II Lightbulb at Rs 641.75 per share, reducing its holding from 9.86% to 7.28%. Institutional buyers included domestic mutual funds such as SBI, HDFC, ICICI Prudential, and Nippon India, alongside the National Pension System Trust. Foreign institutional investor Societe Generale acquired a 0.62% stake for Rs 688.91 crore. ADIA arm Platinum Jasmine remains Lenskart's largest public shareholder with 9.77%.
