SoftBank Vision Fund II has offloaded 4.50 crore shares in eyewear retailer Lenskart, generating ₹2,887.9 crore through block deals on the BSE. The Japanese investment firm sold the equity at an average price of ₹641.75 per share, representing a 3% discount to its previous closing price. European institutional major Societe Generale emerged as the single largest buyer by acquiring 1.1 crore shares, alongside Goldman Sachs, Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund, HSBC Mutual Fund, and Vanguard entities. Lenskart’s stock has surged over 69% since its November public market debut, enabling SoftBank to execute its second major partial exit.
