Hyderabad-based spacetech startup Cosmoserve Space has raised $6 million in a seed funding round led by Japan's Rebright Partners. The round also saw participation from Aranya Holdings, Naandi Ventures, and existing investors AUM Ventures and Shakti VC. Founded by Chiranjeevi Phanindra, Cosmoserve builds technology to remove defunct satellites and orbital debris to minimize space collision risks. The startup will deploy the fresh capital to support tech demonstrations, finance two upcoming space missions, and expand operations at its new Hyderabad facility. Cosmoserve has raised over $9 million to date and aims for commercialization by 2028.
