Bengaluru-based spacetech startup Pixxel has raised $100 million in a Series C funding round co-led by Temasek and Seraphim. The round also saw participation from 360 ONE Asset, IMM Investment, Radical Ventures, and growX ventures, taking Pixxel’s total funding to $195 million. Founded by Awais Ahmed and Kshitij Khandelwal, Pixxel builds hyperspectral earth-imaging satellites and data analytics software. The company will use the fresh capital to expand its Honeybee satellite constellation, develop its Aurora earth intelligence platform, enhance sovereign space capabilities, and scale manufacturing output at its Gigapixxel facility in Bengaluru to 40 satellites annually.
