Students Pitch Maharashtra 2035 Innovation Roadmap to CM Devendra Fadnavis

Six student finalist teams pitched innovation roadmaps to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis during the summit round of The Governance Challenge 2026 on September 30 in Mumbai. Hosted with the Maharashtra government and supported by the Gates Foundation, the competition tasked participants with formulating strategies to make Maharashtra an innovation hub by 2035 with a focus on deep tech. The finalists were selected from 4,429 teams across 30 policy and business institutions. Solutions targeted agriculture, healthcare, education, governance, financial inclusion, and urban development.
