Ahmedabad-based canine nutrition startup TailBlaze Longevity has raised $300,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by US-based venture capital firm Comma Capital. Founded in August 2023 by Manaal Maniyar and Palak Devpura, the startup develops science-backed, high-protein wet pet food aimed at extending dogs' lives by three to five years. The fresh capital will be deployed to launch its proprietary wet dog food line HeartPour, set up a team in Ahmedabad, and expand distribution. TailBlaze operates a WhatsApp-first commerce model alongside quick commerce channels like Blinkit and BBNow.
