Taiwanese electric scooter and battery-swapping giant Gogoro is set to make its official debut in the Indian market on November 3. The expansion follows a strategic partnership announced with Hero MotoCorp in April to roll out the Gogoro Network battery-swapping infrastructure across India. Gogoro manufactures both low-speed and high-speed electric scooters and plans to introduce a longer-range model specifically tailored for Indian consumers, featuring a 90 km range. The collaboration aims to accelerate EV adoption in India by establishing standard battery-swapping networks for commercial and personal urban mobility.
