Tata Consultancy Services’ data centre subsidiary, HyperVault, alongside its partners, plans to invest up to ₹70,000 crore to construct a massive 1 GW AI data centre campus in Hyderabad. TCS has secured 264 acres of land for the multi-phase project, designed to host high-density, liquid-cooled compute workloads for hyperscalers and frontier AI firms. Established in October, HyperVault previously secured backing from global investment firm TPG, which committed to investing up to ₹18,000 crore ($2 billion) in equity and debt. The campus will incorporate green energy principles and generate thousands of local jobs.
