The Telangana government has introduced an AI-powered digital twin of IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu at DevFest 2026 in Hyderabad. Developed using TensorGo’s HumAIn platform under IT Advisor Sai Krishna, the bilingual avatar interacts with users in English and Telugu. In its initial launch phase, the avatar answers audience queries regarding Telangana’s strategic vision and technology ecosystem. A planned second phase aims to enable citizens to submit grievances and provide feedback directly. The project marks Telangana’s attempt to transition AI technology from ceremonial demonstrations into functional citizen-facing public governance tools.
