Hyderabad-based Physical AI startup Tensrai has raised ₹3.4 crore in a pre-seed funding round backed by India Accelerator, Finvolve, Hyderabad Angels, and prominent angel investors. Founded by Sai Nikhil Rao Gona, Venkata Sai Charan Chalamalasetty, Harshith Uppalapati, and Vivek Datta, Tensrai develops an autonomy platform for industrial robots, commercial vehicles, and heavy machinery. The startup specializes in retrofitting existing industrial equipment with autonomous intelligence, allowing enterprises to automate operations without replacing costly legacy assets. The fresh capital will be deployed to accelerate core technology development, expand engineering teams, and initiate commercial rollouts across Indian and global markets.
