Mumbai-based gourmet pizza brand The Dough Therapy has raised ₹5.25 crore in a seed funding round at a valuation of ₹35 crore. The investment was led by Michigan Capital Advisors, formerly known as Melwani Finance, with participation from Equiglobe Investment. Founded in 2020 by Abhishek Dedhia, Mohit Chheda, and Gaurav Majrekar, the company currently operates 10 outlets offering vegetarian and vegan pizzas. The brand will deploy 60% of the capital for expansion, targeting 20 outlets across India within 12 months, with the remaining funds allocated to marketing, supply chain, and central kitchen technology.
