MakeO, the parent company of dental aligner brand Toothsi, has secured ₹90 crore (approximately $9.4 million) in a funding round led by Singularity AMC. The round also saw participation from the DSP family office, Genesis, and Unispace Ventures. The Mumbai-based startup plans to utilize the capital to expand its offline footprint across India and Southeast Asia, bolster manufacturing, and enhance backend technology. Founded in 2018 by Arpi Mehta, Pravin Shetty, Manjul Jain, and Anirudh Kal, MakeO recently acquired Singapore-based Zenyum and regional chain Apple Dental, expanding its network to 1,100 partner dentists.
