Mumbai-based customised haircare startup Traya is in talks to raise approximately ₹300 crore ($31 million) from Belgium-based investment firm Verlinvest. The proposed funding round, which includes both primary and secondary components, is expected to value the direct-to-consumer brand between ₹2,500 crore and ₹3,000 crore. Founded in 2019 by Saloni Anand and Altaf Saiyed, Traya uses proprietary algorithms alongside doctor consultations to create personalised hair loss treatments. The company currently reports an annualised revenue run rate of ₹900 crore to ₹1,000 crore and operates more than 20 offline centres across Indian cities.
