Unicorn India Ventures Expands to US for Deep-Tech Startups

Deep-tech venture capital firm Unicorn India Ventures (UIV) has expanded operations into the United States, appointing former Google executive Kishore Kanakamedala as Venture Partner to lead the initiative. The US expansion aims to help Indian deep-tech startups secure cross-border market access, investor networks, and global technology ecosystems. This move follows the ₹450 crore first close of UIV's IITM Unicorn Frontier Fund I and the earlier closing of its ₹1,200 crore third fund. UIV plans to establish a local US team of operator-investors to drive co-investments.
