Food and beverage franchisee startup Unify Foodworks has raised Rs 5 crore in a seed funding round through compulsorily convertible debentures. Founded in November 2024 by Sumer Sethi, the company holds exclusive pan-Indian master franchise rights for US brands Moe’s Casa Mexicana, Moe’s Southwest Grill, and Carvel ice cream, all owned by private equity firm Roark Capital. The fresh capital will be deployed to expand store presence across the National Capital Region, build supply chain infrastructure, and conduct store-level training as Unify targets opening over 100 outlets across India in the long term.
