Bengaluru-based spacetech startup VyomIC (AeroDome Technologies), founded in 2023 by IIT Madras alumni Lokesh Kabdal, Vibhor Jain, and Anurag Patil, has raised $1.6 million in pre-seed funding. The investment round was led by Speciale Invest, with participation from BYT Capital and DeVC. The startup is developing a low Earth orbit (LEO) positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) satellite constellation designed to provide reliable, high-precision alternatives to GPS in critical connectivity scenarios. The founding team previously led the Avishkar Hyperloop project at IIT Madras before launching the deeptech space venture.
