Healthcare-focused venture capital firm W Health Ventures has announced the final close of its second fund at ₹700 crore ($84 million), exceeding its ₹630 crore target. The fund focuses on a company-creation model, deploying ₹30 crore to ₹50 crore cheques to build eight to ten healthcare startups from pre-idea to category leaders over four years. Operating across the India-US corridor, Fund II has already backed cancer care venture Everhope Oncology in partnership with Narayana Health and depression treatment startup Everbright Health. Founded in 2020, the firm previously built companies including Elevate Now and Nivaan.
