Healthcare-focused venture capital firm W Health Ventures has closed its second fund at Rs 700 crore, surpassing its target of Rs 630 crore. The firm plans to invest Rs 30 to 50 crore each across 8 to 10 early-stage startups over the next four years along the US-India corridor. Led by Managing Partner Pankaj Jethwani, the fund has already backed Everhope Oncology and Everbright Health from Fund II. Founded in 2020, W Health Ventures manages an in-house team of physicians and operators, with existing portfolio companies including Elevate Now, Nivaan, and Hoola Health reaching 25 million patients.
