Whatfix has appointed co-founder Vara Kumar as its chief executive officer, succeeding co-founder Khadim Batti following his passing on September 1. Kumar co-founded the Bengaluru and San Jose-based enterprise software startup in 2014 and previously spearheaded its product and research strategy. In his new role, Kumar will steer global operations and growth alongside the executive leadership team. Whatfix provides a digital adoption platform powered by AI and analytics, serving over 600 global enterprises, including 80 Fortune 500 firms. The unicorn is backed by marquee investors such as Warburg Pincus, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, and Peak XV Partners.
