The Bharat Project, an entrepreneurship initiative by media platform YourStory, has officially launched ShuruKar at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Science City in Patna, Bihar. Developed in collaboration with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade and Startup India, ShuruKar is designed as a nationwide district-level initiative to encourage youth in tier-2 and tier-3 towns to launch local enterprises. The inaugural event was attended by Bihar Urban Development Minister Nitish Mishra alongside student founders and aspiring entrepreneurs. The programme aims to bridge the access gap for emerging founders building outside major metropolitan tech hubs across India.
