Eternal-owned food delivery platform Zomato is piloting smart food vending machines under the brand name 'Zomato Now' across corporate offices in Gurugram. The initiative, run in partnership with local restaurants, aims to deliver rapid meals by placing food pods closer to consumers rather than relying solely on doorstep riders. The move also seeks to improve ties with restaurant partners amid ongoing disputes over high platform commissions and promotional charges. Zomato's core food delivery arm generated ₹3,100 crore in revenue, up 37% year-on-year, and ₹606 crore in adjusted EBITDA in Q1 FY27.
